Who am I?
I'm Abby. I am a doctor of occupational therapy and I am a licensed OT in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I have lots of experience working with autistic individuals from ages 2 to 80. Over the past 5 years, I have worked in a psychiatric hospital, specialty school, and summer program all tailored towards autism. Now, I am combining my passion to work with the autism community with my knowledge as an occupational therapist, which led me to creating Easy ADOS.
What is the ADOS?
ADOS is the gold standard for autism testing. The results provide information about developmental level and language skills. This can be given to a diagnostician to make a decision.
An ADOS testing session consists of caregiver questionnaire and an informal play session, requiring about 2 hours of your time.
Why Private Pay?
Parents and caregivers to those seeking an ADOS are often delayed by insurance complications and long waitlists to those who accept insurance. I want to provide speedy services with an affordable rate so that all families can have access to an ADOS test.
Do You Provide Additional Services?
I am not currently offering OT services privately. I work as an OT within a school system and will be treating kids there for now. Stay tuned for any future changes.
